In the wake of profound loss that saw me bid farewell to my father on January 2, 2022, and two beloved friends in the following year, my world was engulfed in a storm of grief, depression, anxiety, and attempts of despair as my life continued to run into more and more trials and tribulations.. Amidst the shadows of mental health struggles, the property I inherited—a cherished family home steeped in history—became my sanctuary, my anchor, and my beacon of hope. Each renovation task, from plumbing to electrical work, from window installations to water damage correction and every thing in between was not just a physical endeavor but a lifeline that kept me afloat in the darkest of times.

 

Self-taught through the vast expanse of personal research and YouTube tutorials, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and healing through the art of renovation. With each nail hammered and each wall sculpted, I found solace in the transformative power of creation, channeling my pain and anguish into the meticulous work of restoring a piece of family history. The property that once stood as a mere structure now stands as a testament to the resilience and strength that have carried me through the depths of despair.
